Bethany (Beth) is a Recreational Therapist and Educational Support. As a Recreational Therapist, she is non judgemental, patient and is an active listener to her clients.

 

She works virtually and is offering “walk and talks” and small group community outings.
Bethany has lived mental health and trauma experience making her empathetic towards others’ struggles and triggers.

 

She grew up in Muskoka then moved to Hamilton in 2018 where she has called home since. She has an orange cat which she adores and is a lover of all animals.
In her recreation and leisure time she enjoys hiking, camping, baking, crafting, playing board games and spending time with friends/family.

 

Bethany has worked in LTC (long term care) facilities, adult day programs, specialized classrooms within schools (elementary
and secondary), city recreation centre's and within the community. Bethany received a diploma in Recreational Therapy from Mohawk College in 2020 and their diploma inIntensive Educational Support in August of 2022 from Mohawk College.


Bethany has been working in this field since 2018. She loves to see the people she supports thrive, discover new skills and passions.
